My wife and I ended up killing about a half hour one day last week looking through the new Teen Challenge Thrift Store in Seaford. I’ve always got to take a peek at the books and music present.

There’s no school like some old school marching!
This one was a memory from childhood. Having heard a lot of southern gospel music when I was younger (single digits), I remember meeting Kenny Parker when he played in the area back in the 1970’s.
I didn’t know that Mark Lowry recorded anything at such a young age (12).
I did walk out of there with two books and this gem:
This was in good shape, outside of some crayon marks in the back. Now I’m just wondering if my grandkids will enjoy it, or if it will just be me alone.
UPDATE: I forgot to say that there is a song by Ray Stevens called I Need Your Help, Barry Manilow. If you’ve got time to blow, give it a listen.
