From the Delaware Tea Party:
The Delaware Tea Party will be holding a Health Care Forum on September 30th at the Laurel Fire Hall, located on 10th Street in Laurel, Delaware. The forum will begin at 6:30 pm and is free for all to attend. The purpose of this forum is to answer questions the community may have on health care reform.
The Delaware Tea Party has worked to make sure the panel is fair and balanced. The panel will consist of a representative from Nanticoke and Beebe Hospital, and Ken Bock of Cheer will be present to discuss the impact on Seniors. The panel will also include Phil LaPraid of Seaford Machine Works who will give thoughts on the effect on small business, Dave Skocik will discuss effect on Veterans, Dr. Joann Fields will discuss the advantages of the health exchange co-op, and Representative Daniel B. Short will answer questions concerning private insurance as well as his thoughts concerning state issues. The Delaware Tea Party is working on added to the panel in attempt to have a broad resource of ideas.
It is our hope that this forum will aid in getting accurate information on this important issue to those that attend. The majority of the time will be spent in questions and open discussion.
