Today I am ill and just don’t want to write anything. There is a video I’d like to share. This video is from CNN about Ed Young, a minister from Texas. I’ve enjoyed Young for a while because he’s practical and down to earth. Part of one of Young’s sermons caught the eye and ear of CNN. Take a look at this video encouraging seven days of… well, I’ll let the video say it.

UPDATE: CBS News did a story on this too. (hat tip to Inside Josh’s Head)

Amen brother! Our pastor does a Sex series every year. We just finished ours. The saying was, “Do It on Purpose.” God invented “it” so why should the church be silent on “it?”

    Gotta’ go–wife just walked in . . .

While it’s a great idea in theory I can only imagine the conflicts that could arise as a husband reminds his wife that the “preacher” said we should “do it” for seven days. What he should have said was that men need to “serve” their wives and expect nothing in return for one week. Now that would shake things up!!

Before you raise an eyebrow about this challenge…check out this past weekend’s message at to see what God says about sex and marriage in scripture. It is time that sex is taken back from our culture and returned to the place where it all began—one man and one woman in marriage, God’s way. ^i^
