The prices on regular gasoline are continuing to drop. Here in Laurel regular gas stopped at a high price around $3.999 a gallon. Currently it is down to $2.379 a gallon. Most of the time during the last year or so, gasoline has been about 10 cents a gallon cheaper behind the iron curtain in Salisbury. That has changed recently. Saturday afternoon the family van received gas that was 22 cents a gallon cheaper than in Salisbury. Comparing Sam’s Club prices, Laurel was 10 cents cheaper. What’s up down there? Did O’Malley tack on an additional tax to the already overburdened citizens of Maryland? With prices like that, I will be gassing up in Delaware for a while.
