Laurel-Delaware State Police are currently seeking information into a robbery/burglary which occurred Monday evening around 7:35 p.m.

The robbery/burglary occurred at the Laurel Little League’s Concession stand located off of Woodland Ferry Road Laurel Delaware. The investigation revealed that a 48 year old Laurel man had come to the little league concession stand in order to perform maintenance inside of the building.

When the victim entered the building he observed an interior light already illuminated. The victim became suspicious of this light being on and decided to exit the building. As the victim began to leave he observed the light shut off and then heard voices.

The victim was attacked from behind by at least two suspects and stripped of his wallet and a Dell laptop computer. After taking the victim’s belongings the suspects fled the scene.

The victim sustained minor bruises to his neck, arm and elbow. The victim did not require immediate medical treatment.

When State Troopers and Laurel Police Department arrived on scene a K-9 track was conducted which yielded negative results in locating the suspects.
